Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce and tomato for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  6. Toast the burger buns in the skillet for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers with lettuce and tomato.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
