- 1 cup tahini
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix tahini, brown sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until combined.
- Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Ensure tahini is well mixed before measuring.
- Don’t overbake; cookies will firm up as they cool.
- Use a cookie scoop for even-sized cookies.
