A delicious layered dessert with coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Combine brewed coffee and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Dip ladyfingers in the coffee mixture quickly, just enough to soak.
  4. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in a serving dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  7. Dust with cocoa powder on top.
  8. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Don’t soak ladyfingers too long; they can get too soggy.
  • Use a wide dish for even layers.
