A delightful combination of brownies and cookies, these brookies are fudgy and chewy.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, then mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the brownie batter in a greased baking pan.
- Scoop cookie dough on top of the brownie batter and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Let it cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Don’t overmix the batter to keep your brookies chewy.
- Use room temperature eggs for better mixing.
- Cool completely for easier cutting.
