- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft.
- Drain excess fat. Mix in cream of mushroom soup and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the beef mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Layer frozen tater tots on top of the cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef to reduce fat.
- Feel free to add vegetables like peas or corn for more flavor.
- For a crispier topping, bake for an extra 5 minutes.
