Description
A simple recipe for takeout style fried rice that you can make at home.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the mixed vegetables and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the empty side.
- Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, then mix with the vegetables.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan and stir everything together.
- Pour the soy sauce over the rice and mix well.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Finally, stir in the sliced green onions and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy your homemade fried rice!
Notes
- Use cold rice for the best texture.
- Feel free to add cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu for extra protein.
- Adjust soy sauce according to your taste.
