Description

A delicious and easy taco grilled cheese sandwich that combines cheesy goodness with taco flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked ground beef or turkey
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cooked ground meat with taco seasoning.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  5. Add one slice of cheese on top of the bread.
  6. Spread the taco meat over the cheese.
  7. Add diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce on top of the meat.
  8. Place the second slice of cheese on top of the toppings.
  9. Top with the other slice of buttered bread, butter side up.
  10. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
  11. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

  • Use any type of cheese you like.
  • Feel free to add your favorite taco toppings.
  • Be careful not to burn the bread.
