A simple and delicious recipe for stuffed peppers that anyone can make.

- 4 bell peppers
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well.
- Stuff each pepper with the beef and rice mixture.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and sprinkle cheese on top of each pepper.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use any color of bell peppers you like.
- Feel free to substitute ground beef with turkey or a meat alternative.
- Add some chopped vegetables to the filling for extra nutrition.
- Make sure to cook the rice beforehand.
