Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  8. Slice the steak into strips and add to the sauce. Stir to combine.
  9. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
