Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup white icing
- 1/2 cup chocolate icing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla together.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Pour the batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans.
- Once cool, spread white icing on the top of one cake.
- Place the second cake on top and cover the entire cake with white icing.
- Use chocolate icing to create a spiderweb pattern on top.
- Serve and enjoy your spooky treat!

- Make sure not to overmix the batter.
