- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together Nutella, milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
- Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Check the cupcakes after 18 minutes to avoid overbaking.
- You can add chocolate chips for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
