- 200g pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in canned tomatoes and oregano. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain the pasta and mix it into the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
Notes
- Stir the pasta occasionally while cooking to prevent sticking.
- Use fresh tomatoes if you prefer a homemade sauce.
