Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
