- 1 onion, chopped

- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is soft.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
- Mix in the cooked rice and stir until everything is well combined.
- If using, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
- Serve warm and enjoy your meal!
