Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Add chicken to the pot, cook until browned on both sides.
  5. Remove chicken and set aside.
  6. Add rice to the pot, stir for 1 minute.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat to low, add chicken back to pot, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  9. Check rice for doneness and fluff with a fork.
  10. Serve warm.
