- 2 cups of rice
- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add chicken to the pot, cook until browned on both sides.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add rice to the pot, stir for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, add chicken back to pot, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Check rice for doneness and fluff with a fork.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Make sure not to overcook the rice.
- You can add vegetables like peas or carrots for extra flavor.
