Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add salt and olive oil to the boiling water.
- Add the rinsed rice to the pot.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 18-20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
Notes
- Rinsing the rice helps remove excess starch.
- Make sure not to lift the lid while the rice is cooking.
- You can add spices or vegetables for extra flavor.
