Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, combine the rinsed rice, water, salt, and olive oil.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot.
- Let it simmer for 18 minutes without lifting the lid.
- After 18 minutes, remove the pot from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
Notes
- Make sure to rinse the rice to remove excess starch.
- Do not lift the lid while the rice is cooking.
- Use a fork to fluff the rice, not a spoon.
