- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 cup of diced onions
- 1 cup of diced bell peppers
- 1 cup of canned diced tomatoes
- 2 cups of cooked rice
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheese
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the diced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they soften.
- Add the ground beef to the pan. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season the meat with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir well.
- Add the canned tomatoes and cooked rice. Mix everything together.
- Cook for another 5 minutes until heated through.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover the pan for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Serve hot and enjoy your quick dinner!
