A delicious pumpkin and pecan cobbler that combines the flavors of fall in a warm dessert.
Ingredients

- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs to the mixture. Stir well.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- In a separate bowl, mix milk, self-rising flour, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Pour the milk mixture over the pumpkin mixture. Do not stir.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the pumpkin puree is not sweetened.
- You can use fresh or canned pumpkin puree.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
