Ingredients

- 2 pounds of potatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes into equal pieces.
- Place the potatoes in a pot and cover with water.
- Add garlic cloves to the pot.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes until tender.
- Drain the water and return the potatoes to the pot.
- Add milk and butter to the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm.

- Use a potato masher for best results.
- Do not overboil the potatoes to avoid watery mash.
