- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish.
- Brush barbecue sauce on top of the chicken.
- Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use bone-in chicken for more flavor.
- Check the chicken with a meat thermometer; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
