Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Philly grilled cheese sandwich that will satisfy your cravings.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (such as cheddar or American)
  • 1/2 cup of cooked steak, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup of sautéed onions
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Add cheese slices on top of the bread.
  5. Layer the sliced steak and sautéed onions on top of the cheese.
  6. Top with the second slice of cheese.
  7. Place the second slice of bread on top, butter side up.
  8. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  9. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes more.
  10. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use any type of cheese you prefer.
  • Make sure the skillet is not too hot to avoid burning the bread.
  • Feel free to add other toppings like peppers or mushrooms.
