Scale
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Mix the ingredients until smooth and well combined.
- Add the pecan halves to the mixture and stir gently.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Let the pie cool before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the pie crust is not too thick or it may not bake evenly.
- Check the pie halfway through baking. If the crust edges brown too quickly, cover them with foil.
