Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes, until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla.
- Add chopped pecans to the mixture and stir well.
- Pour the pecan filling over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, until the filling is set.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
