- 200g pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt.
- Add pasta and cook according to package instructions.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add canned tomatoes and dried basil. Stir well.
- Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Mix well.
- Serve hot with your favorite cheese on top.
Notes
- Stir the pasta occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Use fresh herbs for more flavor if available.
- Taste the sauce before serving to adjust seasoning.
