- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat it with the parmesan mixture.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Make sure the chicken is not too thick for even cooking.
- You can use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Feel free to add herbs or spices to the coating for more flavor.
