This recipe makes delicious pan-banging giant cookies that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use room temperature butter for better mixing.
- Do not overmix the dough.
- Leave space between cookies on the baking sheet.
- For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them.
