- 2 pounds of beef chuck roast
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the crock pot.
- Add the diced potatoes, sliced carrots, and chopped onion on top.
- Pour the beef broth over the vegetables and meat.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the crock pot and set it on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Check the meat when done; it should be tender and easy to shred.
- Serve hot with your favorite bread.
Notes
- For added flavor, sear the beef in a pan before placing it in the crock pot.
