Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, combine rice, water, olive oil, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- In a separate pan, sauté mixed vegetables until tender.
- Add soy sauce and green onions to the vegetables.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and combine with the vegetable mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy your New Year’s dish.
Notes
- Make sure to rinse the rice to remove excess starch.
- Feel free to add your favorite protein, like chicken or tofu.
- Adjust soy sauce to taste for more flavor.
