- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 1/2 ounces white rum
- 1/2 cup soda water
Instructions
- In a glass, muddle the mint leaves and lime wedges together.
- Add the sugar and muddle a little more to release the lime juice.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the rum over the ice.
- Top with soda water and stir well.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.
Notes
- Adjust the sugar to taste.
- Use fresh mint for the best flavor.
- Do not over-muddle the mint; it can taste bitter.
