Description

This recipe combines minced beef and cheese with pão de queijo for a savory treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups tapioca flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 cup minced beef
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a pot, combine milk, vegetable oil, and salt. Bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Remove from heat and add tapioca flour. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Add the egg and cheese. Mix until combined.
  5. In a separate pan, cook the minced beef until browned. Season to taste.
  6. Let the dough cool slightly, then form small balls.
  7. Make a small indentation in each ball and fill with minced beef.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook the beef to keep it juicy.
  • Ensure the dough is not too hot when adding the egg.
  • Use a non-stick baking sheet for easier removal.
