- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 jar marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix everything until just combined. Don’t overmix.
- Form small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until browned.
- While meatballs bake, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan.
- Add baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve warm with pasta or on a sub roll.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
- Feel free to add spices like oregano or basil for extra flavor.
- Make sure not to pack the meatballs too tightly.
