Ingredients

  • 4 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat until sugar dissolves, then cool.
  2. Blend mangoes and lime juice until smooth.
  3. Mix mango puree with the cooled sugar water.
  4. Pour mixture into a shallow container and freeze for 4 hours.
  5. Every hour, stir the mixture with a fork to break up ice crystals.
  6. Once fully frozen, scoop and serve your sorbet.
