Ingredients
Scale
- 200g of pasta
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 400g of canned tomatoes
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of water and add a pinch of salt.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the canned tomatoes to the pan and stir. Season with salt and pepper.
- Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the sauce.
- Toss to combine and heat through.
- Serve with fresh basil on top.

- Make sure not to overcook the pasta.
- Feel free to add vegetables or protein to the sauce.
- Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning as needed.
