Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

- Add cold butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream, egg, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly.
- Shape the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges.
- Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
