- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 can lemon pie filling (21 oz)
- 1 package cream cheese (8 oz, softened)
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the lemon pie filling evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the lemon pie filling.
- Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix over the top.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
- Do not stir the cake mix; just sprinkle it on top.
- Serve warm or chilled, with whipped cream if desired.
