Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Take one noodle, spread a generous amount of the cheese mixture on it, then roll it up tightly.
  6. Place the rolled noodle seam-side down in the baking dish.
  7. Repeat with remaining noodles and filling.
  8. Pour the rest of the marinara sauce over the rolls and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can add spinach or ground meat to the cheese mixture for extra flavor.
  • Make sure not to overcook the noodles; they should be al dente.
  • Cover the dish with foil if the cheese browns too quickly.
