- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Take one noodle, spread a generous amount of the cheese mixture on it, then roll it up tightly.
- Place the rolled noodle seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Repeat with remaining noodles and filling.
- Pour the rest of the marinara sauce over the rolls and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add spinach or ground meat to the cheese mixture for extra flavor.
- Make sure not to overcook the noodles; they should be al dente.
- Cover the dish with foil if the cheese browns too quickly.
