Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup tofu, cubed
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until soft.
- Add the sliced carrot and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and water. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and add the cubed tofu.
- Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use firm tofu for better texture.
- Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
- Feel free to add vegetables like mushrooms or spinach.
