Description

A delicious grilled cheese sandwich with a spicy twist from jalapenos and crispy bacon.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (your choice)
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside.
  2. Slice the jalapeno. Remove seeds for less heat, if desired.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer cheese, bacon, and jalapenos.
  5. Top with another slice of cheese and the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and the cheese melts, about another 3-4 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
