Description
A simple and tasty Italian sausage and peppers dish made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the Italian sausage for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Layer the sliced bell peppers and onion in the crockpot.
- Add the browned sausage on top of the vegetables.
- Stir in the minced garlic, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve warm, enjoy!

- Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms.
