Description

A simple and tasty Italian sausage and peppers dish made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brown the Italian sausage for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
  3. Layer the sliced bell peppers and onion in the crockpot.
  4. Add the browned sausage on top of the vegetables.
  5. Stir in the minced garlic, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  8. Serve warm, enjoy!
