Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Line a cupcake pan with liners and fill each cup about 2/3 full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  10. For frosting, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Frost the cooled cupcakes.
