- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Toss marinated chicken in the flour mixture until well coated.
- Carefully place chicken in the hot oil, frying in batches.
- Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes each batch.
- Remove chicken and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Check the oil temperature before frying to prevent sogginess.
- You can use any seasoning you like for extra flavor.
