Instructions

  1. Rinse the lentils under cold water.
  2. In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add carrots and celery, cooking for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in cumin, then add lentils, broth, and tomatoes.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
