- 1 cup brown rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, broccoli)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the brown rice under cold water.
- In a pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until water is absorbed.
- In a separate pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and mixed vegetables. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the cooked rice and soy sauce. Mix well.
- Serve hot and enjoy your meal.
Notes
- Be careful not to overcook the rice.
- You can add more vegetables based on your preference.
- Adjust the soy sauce to your taste.
