- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.
- Once heated, remove from the stove and let it cool slightly.
- Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
- Brush the glaze generously over the ham, ensuring it gets into the scored areas.
- Place the ham in the oven and bake according to the weight of the ham, basting with glaze every 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Make sure to score the ham to allow the glaze to penetrate.
- Keep an eye on the glaze to prevent burning.
