- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is soft.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for about 5 minutes until it starts to soften.
- Add the can of diced tomatoes and taco seasoning. Mix well.
- Cover and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the cabbage is tender, sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Cover again until the cheese melts.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
