- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Mix the ingredients until evenly combined, but do not overmix.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Serve meatballs with marinara sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
- Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep meatballs tender.
- Use a cookie scoop for uniform meatballs.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer; it should read 160°F (70°C).
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
