- 200g spaghetti
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a pot of salted water. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions.
- In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until garlic is fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Drain spaghetti, reserving some pasta water.
- Add spaghetti to the pan with garlic butter. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve with chopped parsley on top.
Notes
- Don’t burn the garlic; it should be golden, not brown.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to control spiciness.
- Feel free to add grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
