Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt.
  2. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add diced tomatoes and dried basil. Stir well.
  6. Let sauce simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Drain pasta and add it to the sauce. Toss to combine.
  8. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
