- 8 ounces of spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) of diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water.
- Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add diced tomatoes and basil to the pan. Stir well.
- Cook for 5 minutes, allowing flavors to blend.
- Drain spaghetti and add it to the pan with the tomato mixture.
- Toss everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

- Be careful not to overcook the pasta.
